About

The Gallery is a magazine publication focused on showcasing artworks made by students of the PGCPS Online Campus. As of February 1 of 2023, this club is independent and not an official club for the school. This club is hosted and run by Neillani Hall-Anderson, who came up with the idea of starting a student-run art magazine. The project is backed up by PGCPS Online Campus teacher Hazar Biddle, who works as an English teacher. Preparations for the club to launch started early January 2023, when application forms to the club were sent out to fellow classmates. It was only on the first of February that the project was officially kicked off with the first club meeting, attended by students that had applied to join a few weeks prior.

How does it work?

Students attending the Online Campus can access the link on our Submissions page, and from there they will submit through Google Forms using their school email address. After the submission is made, the editing team will be notified and receive the artwork along with any information that goes along with it (such as their name, the title of the artwork, and comments that the submitter might have made). The artwork will undergo review and be added to the magazine. After that, submitters will have to wait until the next magazine edition publication to see their artwork on display alongside others. Only editors and team members will have access to the magazine before that point.

How often does it publish?

The anticipated release schedule for the magazine is at the end of each quarter. Before that point, only editors and team members will have access to submitted artworks.

Do I need to be part of the club to submit?

You do NOT need to be a member to submit an artwork. The only requirement that you must meet to submit is that you are a student of the PGCPS Online Campus.
